I stayed in 7 hostel for 5 amazing days in May 2009. It was the best hostel I ever stayed, better than many hotels I visited in fact.
Amazing dorms, fantastic beds, bathrooms, food, everything was fantastic. I loved every single minute and I recommend for everyone.

Seven Hostel is seriously like a resort. I stayed here for only 2 nights sadly, and barely left the hostel it was so nice. Great rooftop space to just lounge out on all day. When you get too hot, there's a perfect little shower to go in right on the deck. Everything about it is clean, gorgeous and nicer than a hotel. The bathrooms were amazing, they even had a balcony.
I do recommend coming in the middle of the summer, there weren't many people here early Sept., so the bar wasn't busy on the roof or anything which sucked a little. They amazing dorms and everything made up for it though.
The front desk and staff are so friendly and really helpful. Even if it's just about planning the next part of your trip or helping you figure out how to get to you 4am flight in Naples!!!
Free, fast, internet. ALL THE TIME!!! I think that speaks for itself...

Stayed at 7 for 4 days from the 16th August to the 20th. After staying at hostels in Paris, Venice and Rome, I can say that 7 is the best hostel by far. Clean, modern, cozy, excellent service and staff, the terrace, the bar, the showers, everthing is great. I was going to leave Sorrento and stay at other cities but insteaddecided to stay at 7 and go for the day to the other cities I wanted to visit.
7 hostel is really worth it

I spent about a week at 7 in August, while my friends actually stayed there for 20 days, and we all agree : this is by far the best hostel we have ever seen. Spacious, modern, squeaky clean, good food and drinks at great prices, superb location and amazing spirit : from the very helpful and friendly staff (who actually helped us organize a night out clubbing in neighbouring Positano) to the various parties and bands playing in the evening. My personal favorite : spending a few minutes on the roof every evening watching the sun go down over the bay... simply beautiful !!

I stayed in this hostel for 3 days after staying in 9 other hostels on my month long trip to Italy. This was the BEST hostel I stayed in. It is clean,the staff is very friendly and very helpful.
The boat trip that was recommended to us upon checking in was the GREATEST boat trip I have ever been on. We swam in caves!!Other tour boats that passed us while we were swimming were jealous cuz they were stuck on their boat not swimming!!
The food at the hostel was affordable and tasty,and drinks were great! Not to mention the hostel is BEAUTIFUL. There was a roof top with couches and umbrellas and a bar! This place was amazing. I am planning on coming back to Sorrento and I will definitely be staying here!

Stayed at 7 last Summer. The staff, the rooms and general areas are way beyond what is expected for the price. If you plan on going to Sorrento, this is the place to stay! Congratulations on a marvelous job well done in converting this former monestery into a beautiful hostel. If you want to call it that. The service and ambiance make it more than just a hostel. I 100% recommend this as the place to stay in Amalfi Coast.
Looking forward for another visit soon.
